Experience & About Me
I became an Approved Driving Instructor with a clear mission: to help create drivers who are safe for life, not just safe enough to pass a test. My motivation is very personal. In 2018, my sister’s eight-year-old son, Dev, sadly lost his life in a tragic road accident. That experience changed how I see driving and road safety, and it pushed me to take responsibility in the way I can — by training drivers to be calm, aware, and responsible from the very beginning. What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing students grow in confidence, make better decisions, and start to enjoy driving rather than fear it. Helping someone go from nervous to capable is very rewarding.
My Favourite Quote
“Small actions, done consistently, create big results.” I believe this fits perfectly with learning to drive — progress comes from steady practice and the right mindset.
Memorable Moment
When a very anxious student completed a complex roundabout independently for the first time and said, “I didn’t think I could ever do that.” Moments like that remind me why I chose this profession.
Likes
Structured learning, clear goals, positive progress, building good relationships with students so they feel comfortable.
Dislikes
Rushed learning. Ignoring unsafe habits to get through a test. I believe in long-term safety over short-term results.
